About Penalty Shootout
Penalty Shootout is a single-touch football game. You stand over the ball, the goalkeeper sets up between the posts, and a swipe across the ball decides everything — angle, power, and curve.
Rounds alternate between taking shots and defending them — when you defend, you choose where the keeper dives. It is fast, the AI keeps you honest, and the win comes down to small reads and steady hands.
How to play
Swipe across the ball to shoot. When defending, tap where you think the AI will aim. The first side to win the shootout takes the round.

Tips & tricks
- Aim for the corners, not the middle — the keeper almost always sets centre first.
- Curve the ball with a slow arc rather than a fast straight kick.
- When defending, watch where the shooter's eye sets before swiping.
- Power matters less than placement. Aimed shots beat blasted ones.
- Restart after one bad round — the keeper rotates patterns between matches.
Reads on both ends
Penalty Shootout comes down to small reads, because a single swipe controls angle, power, and curve all at once. On attack, aim for the corners with just enough curve to beat a diving keeper rather than blasting straight down the middle. On defence, watch the run-up and commit your dive a touch late so a clear tell does not give you away. The AI keeps you honest by varying its choices, so mix up your own placement instead of repeating the shot that just scored.
