About Nuts & Bolts
Nuts & Bolts is a small sorting puzzle. Each board has bolts standing upright, with colour-coded nuts stacked on them in random order. Your job is to unscrew nuts and re-thread them onto other bolts until each bolt holds nuts of a single colour.
The pieces clack as they move. There is no timer and no scoring. The pleasure is in the small chain of decisions — which nut to lift, where to set it, how to free the next one underneath.
How to play
Tap or click a bolt to lift the top nut. Tap or click another bolt to drop the nut there. Sort every bolt by colour to clear the level.

Tips & tricks
- Empty bolts are free workspace — keep one open as a buffer.
- Move colour groups together when possible; splitting them costs moves.
- If a level looks stuck, work backwards from the colour that has the fewest nuts.
- Reset early. Locked layouts often need a different starting move.
- Slow taps are easier to track than fast ones. There is no rush.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a move?
Most levels have a limited undo button; use it sparingly.
Is there a move limit?
Some levels track moves for bonus stars but most have no limit.
Does the game scale on phones?
Yes — the tap-tap pattern is touch-friendly.
Is there a fail state?
Boards can stuck-out but they can always be reset; there is no run-ending fail.
